Who we are

A.S.D. Lago d’Orta Sports & Events is an association founded in 2015 in Miasino (Novara - Italy), a little village on the hills of Orta Lake, in the province of Novara.

Chaired by Stefano Falciola was created to promote sport activity, to organize sports and recreational events of high quality and to value the land surrounding the Orta Lake, located about an hour away from Milan.

The project started in 2015 and takes off in 2016 with two special and unique events.

The first event is the historical crossing of the Orta Lake from one end to the other (14 km); from 2015 to 2019, in 5 editions, grew from 604 members to over 1.400, with over 30 Nations represented (Canada, New Zealand, Russia, Ukraine, etc.).

The second event is the complete tour of the Orta Lake, an extreme challenge only for few athletes (27 km).

A unique race in the panorama of open water swimming, which, in the past editions, has seen average 25 Solo Swimmers and 10 Relay Teams challenge each other.

The two events in 2020 will join the TRITON project, with the name of TRITON Lago d’Orta and ULTRA TRITON Lago d’Orta.
